"My experience with “Changing Perspectives” was very therapeutic and fun. I had such a great time reconnecting with Mrs. Katherine. I really felt the chemistry we had built over a span of 3 years definitely showed during the “Changing Perspectives” workshop.
Mrs. Katherine really tapped into my mental state, and was able to present different ways for me to combat my stress, such as journaling, self reflection, and drawing. Mrs.Katherine has taught me acting techniques, such as creating scores through movement that can help present multiple stories, how to create stories through your current emotions, and how to create stories in a moment's notice. Even though my workshop worked around the theme of Halloween, we were able to include personal thoughts and ideas that I was experiencing, while still including Halloween elements.
I understand that the Co-Vid 19 pandemic is among us, but don’t forget that you don’t have to be in person. You can sign up for Mrs.Katherine’s workshops and one on one training, and enter the world of drama through the screen. I’ve always had a passion for acting and when I met Katherine Tanner Silverman, she helped me make my passion a true reality. I could not have asked for a better acting coach than her. If you want a compassionate, talented, understanding, bold acting coach, Katherine Tanner Silverman should definitely be your choice."

"As a director/teacher, Katherine approaches theater with open hands and an open heart. Her direction is hands on and full bodied allowing younger actors like me to break out of our habits and to dive into character where submersion is encouraged. She fosters a space where “mistakes” are treated as opportunities and not as criminal, which for an actor, is an incredible gift of catharsis. Katherine has a great balance of work and play. She does her homework to create a professional and safe space where play can exist, then is sculpted into story. Katherine is a wonderful collaborator and works with her company to include an actors agenda while maintaining the truth of the text. She has never said no to an idea without seeing it and truly listens to new thoughts at anytime during the creative process. She is very patient person. She encourages actors to trust their instincts opposed to imposing her own ideas onto them, which has made me a more educated and confident performer. Katherine is a wonderful collaborator, mentor, and
director. "
