The importance of creating a Season==========
As we venture into building this hybrid business we've discovered that in today's environment we find ourselves performing several more roles than the genesis of a typical theatre might have. We're running a non-profit arts organization, creating collaborative performances, learning about internet algorithms and constructing virtual content.😱 Although necessary and interesting, it can be overwhelming. To combat negative thoughts that surround pipe dreams and realities, I realized I need to make micro-goals for myself.
How do I get back to the root of why we're doing this? 🤔
Well, we're an arts organization so why not focus on getting back to art and forgive ourselves for not being so internet savvy. So here we go...we now have our first season of devised performances to keep us moving forward.
I'd say, it's about time.
Lady M is a Work in Process
Check out this video containing [research as performance]. I love sharing the discoveries I'm making during rehearsal. Imperfection is human and necessary so I share unfinished work to demonstrate my commitment to being human.
I hope you get as excited about this project as I am. I'm giving myself more time to build this piece as it has more to offer the subject of mental health than I was expecting. The journey continues.
Working hard?
Even though I am a theatre maker creating work for an audience, there is an infinite amount of screen time involved. Everyone has to pay the piper I suppose.

It is so strange saying out loud all of the reasons you select a person to join your board. It just isn't publicly done. But we did it and we're proud of the diverse group we have working by our side.
